Gary Provost - the granddaddy of teaching us all how to write.
It seemed only fitting to start the first post on Coffee for the Creative with Gary Provost, author and writing teacher. The famous image below shows exactly how to turn your writing into sentences that sing and have your readers engaged. From the first letter to the last period.

How to apply this to your work
Take your last social post, your last email, or even the last long-form message you sent to a friend. Rewrite it with a touch of Provost. If you think writing is hard. It’s because you’re trying to write well. Apply some music. And if all else fails, read it aloud. Put a period or a comma the exact moment you pause. Then send it.
Sip slurp yum and done!
Much love,
Roel
